Kit’s primary ministry is with Imago Art Studio, an outreach of the New Life Center Foundation in northern Thailand. She provides direct clinical care for survivors of trauma including sexual abuse, human trafficking and domestic violence through therapeutic art groups and life-skills workshops. She also promotes spiritual formation through preaching, Bible teaching and facilitating art and contemplative prayer retreats. Additionally, Kit provides support and consultation for the New Life Center administrative team and board of directors, does staff development and training and assists with guest relations and promotional materials.

• The residents of NLCF as they start their summer holidays this week 

Many of our girls will go to visit family (if they have safe family members they can visit).  It is good for them to reconnect with their languages, tribal culture, family and friends, but this time can also bring up difficult memories for some.  Since they are teen girls, summer holidays sometimes also mean negotiating new dating relationships.  Please pray for God to protect and guide them, help them make wise choices, and bring them safely back to us in May.  

• Imago Art ministry 

I continue to teach therapeutic art for survivors of trauma and do art & spiritual formation retreats for cross-cultural workers.  This ministry is rich and fulfilling!  I have also started doing therapeutic art lessons for a graduate student who was recently diagnosed with ADHD.  Please pray for the Holy Spirit to continue to pour out healing and restoration through this ministry.
