God continues to work around the world. For over two centuries, International Ministries (IM) and its partners have joined God in changing the lives of people around the world.  IM is not just a mission agency, it is a movement.

Often our internal questions make us hesitant to take the next step. Questions such how can I be certain that God is calling me? If I say yes to God’s call, what do I do next? I am not a preacher, or teacher, can God use me? How will I adjust to another culture? Maybe you’re wrestling with these questions and wonder how to find some answers.

Hear the Call is a weekend retreat for adults who are exploring a personal call to join God in global mission. You will interact with global servants and IM staff who answer questions, address misconceptions, pray with you and help you evaluate your call. Worship, inspirational messages, Bible study and personal reflection time all combine to make this a powerful discernment experience.

 “The “Hear the Call” retreat in Rhode Island in 2015 was an important step in our journey to become global servants.  The retreat provided a comfortable and welcoming environment to explore our calling. It was an outstanding opportunity to meet vocational missionaries, International Ministries staff, and other individuals who were on the discernment journey.  We were also able to learn about the appointment process.
