Hello Family, Friends, and Ministry Partners,

Greetings and Blessings to you and your family in the name of our Risen Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. As I prepared my heart, mind, and spirit for Resurrection Sunday, I started a video devotional called, “40 Days of Lent”. The devotional went through the gospel of Matthew. The head knowledge that Jesus was born so He could die for our sins took on new meaning once again. God always seems to peel back the layers to His plan and reveals His purpose with greater understanding to me. I can see why His disciples knew more after the resurrection. They were able to speak boldly about their friend, teacher, and God, Jesus the Christ. He told them exactly what was going to happen in Matthew 20:17-19. It was not until after the resurrection Thomas says in John 20:28 “My Lo,rd and my God.”  We all have our seasons of doubt, but God reassures me again and again He is with me. He is calling me to be bolder in witnessing to others. I must go out and boldly proclaim the name of Jesus to my family, friends, and to those I don’t even know. Christ has commanded us to go! Are we willing to risk it all? I know I am!

This year I am going and telling the story of how Jesus is saving the lives of children, youth, young adults and mature adults through you, my prayer and financial partners. God’s word is going out everywhere just like after the resurrection of Christ. I am His vessel and you are the ones through Christ to help me do that each day in South Africa. Join me Easter week as I participate in International Ministries ‘Miles for Mission” virtual 5K.

Once again my friends, family, and ministry partners, I ask you to please invite me to your churches so that I can tell you about the ministry in South Africa. We can pray for all that the Lord is doing and will do in Qonce and surrounding villages when I return in 2026. We can also talk about Short-Term Mission Trips. I hope to see you at your region gatherings, the 2025 Biennial Mission Summit, your Bible studies (in-person or on Zoom), or your Sunday morning worship services. Church Visitation

• January 2025 – Worship Services at Filipino American Community Church in Long Beach, Trinity Baptist Church of Los Angeles, Second Baptist of Los Angeles Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church in Bellflower, Birthday Celebration, and obtaining a 2010 Jeep to get around Los Angeles.

February 2025 – Faith Community Fellowship Church, Mandate – Aspire Conference 2025, Mission Training International for Debriefing and Renewal Program, Lowery Community Church, Trinity Baptist Church of Los Angeles and IM Staff, Jill Lowery and Jeni Pedzinski visiting my home church Trinity Baptist Church.

March 2025   First Baptist Church of North Hollywood, Zion Hill Baptist Church, Tabernacle of Faith Baptist Church, Park Windsor Baptist Church First Baptist Church of Pasadena, Park Hill Community Church Bible Study, Meeting General Secretary, Rev. Dr. Gina Jacobs-Strain and the Executive Board of ABCUSA, Attended Martin Luther King Jr. – AKA and Delta Sigma Theta  “40^th Anniversary Concert”.

Praise Report:

• I was able to obtain a 2010 Jeep for my time in California.
• I spend family time with my children and friends on the west coast.

Ministry:

• The ministry of letting Christ be known by working with and advocating for special needs children; engaging parents and learners through Math and the Sciences
• My 9 remaining months of home-assignment in the USA
• Teleios Christian School Ministry and Busy Bee Pre-school – Learners, their families, Principal, Assistant Principal, Teachers, Teacher Aids, and Custodians
• Extended Village School Ministry – Seven adopted schools Jityaza Combined Primary School, Forbes Grant High School, Ginsberg Pre-school, Breidbach High School, Breidbach Primary School, and Breidbach Pre-school – Collaborating with the students and administrators
• God will continue to show me ways to help learners and that I show them the love of Jesus.
• Bethany Emmanuel Baptist Church (Pastor Reuben Ihlenfeldt) and Project Dorcas Women’s Vocational Training Program
• Extended ministry outreach to two village churches, Calvary Baptist in Breidbach (Pastor Abdul Ohlson) and Bethel Baptist Church (Pastor Tembani Zani) in Ginsberg
• Special Education teachers to help train the teachers at Teleios Christian school and at the village schools
• Outreach ministry at SINAKO vocational training school for the blind and disabled
• Xhosa Language – Speaking with boldness
• Afrikaans greeting as I visit some churches with only mixed-race congregation

Personal:

• God will continue to show us how to be a witness for Christ in the lives of children in South Africa as well as in our local area in the United States
