GoalThe goal of this project is to provide food and medicines to refugee families in Palestine.
SummaryThis White Cross project seeks to raise $3,529 per year to provide for refugee families through the Christian Mission to Gaza in the Middle East.
DescriptionChristian Mission to Gaza (CMG) focuses on sharing God’s love with refugees who have fled persecution in Iraq and the war in Syria. Tens of thousands arrive daily with only the clothes on their back and what little they can carry. Nearly two million people are starving and basic food staples are in short supply. A tank of gas costs two months wages and unemployment is the norm.
The ministry of CMG helps the poorest of families with food like cheese, canned meats, oil, rice, beans, honey and milk. Nearly 80% of people in Gaza rely on charities to survive. CMG also provides some basic medicines to alleviate pain and suffering.
Working with Hanna Massad, pastor of the only Baptist church in Gaza, CMG helps 150 refugees families.
This project will be managed by our partner the Rev. Dr. Hanna Massad of the Baptist Church in Gaza.
