We will be taking applications for this trip beginning May 1, 2017. Please do not send an application or deposit before May 1, but feel free to advertise this opportunity!
Join Lauran Bethell in Amsterdam, Netherlands, in a unique opportunity to learn from one of the pioneers in the anti-human trafficking movement. From Amsterdam to Rotterdam to The Hague, you will visit creative anti-trafficking organizations, interact with practitioners and see how grass-roots projects are addressing the issues of human trafficking and prostitution. Each evening you will gather with Lauran and the group to debrief the day’s experience, as well as brainstorm and pray about what you can do in your own context.
Intermingled with visiting ministries in red-light districts, will be high tea at an anti-trafficking project and visits to the famous Keukenhof tulip gardens and the Corrie Ten Boom house.
Dates: April 23-May 1, 2018
Cost for trip:
$1000 plus airfare - Stay at Lauran’s apartment, close accommodations, one bathroom (women only)
$1500 plus airfare - Stay at a hotel near Lauran's home, double occupancy, private bathroom
Accommodations at Lauran’s home are first come, first served.
Team size is limited to nine, and the deadline to receive applications with deposits is February 1, 2018.
