Dear Friends and Family,

We'd like to send you our warmest Christmas greetings!

For the Lowery family, this is a very special Christmas as we are looking forward to being together for the first time in several years. In Congo, Christmas is a joyful Christ-centered celebration. We hope to continue that tradition as we celebrate with our family in the States this year . This is our hope for you, as well.

A quick family update: Taylor, our oldest son, is attending Fuller Theological Seminary and is excited to be interning at Evergreen Baptist Church in LA. Hannah is in her last year of University and hopes to go into counseling. She is also very involved with the Children's ministries at her church. Matthew, who finished high school in Congo last June, is in his first year at California State University in Bakersfield. He's very active in the Church worship team. We're thankful that he has found a job and is settling into life in the US. We're grateful for your continued prayers for our children.

Mike and I are home this year speaking in churches and raising support for our ministries in Congo. Our fund raising efforts are on track. We have spoken in churches and conferences in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Kansas. We still have about $2000 per month to raise before we are fully funded. We are thankful for God's faithfulness. We believe that He will touch people's hearts so that we can return to Congo with enough support to continue our ministries.

We are especially thankful for you, our partners, who have faithfully supported us over the years. Without your prayers and financial support we could not serve God at the Mitendi Women's Center or at the Pastor's Institute of Kikongo. You are making a difference in the Congo!

Merry Christmas! Joyeux Noel!

May your Christmas days be filled with Jesus,

Jill and Mike Lowery

And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:10–11)
