A Malayan Proverb says: "One can pay back the loan of gold, but one dies forever in debt to those who are kind and generous."

The deadline was today and thanks to your Christian kindness and generosity, we reached our financial goal. International Ministries reported to us that we reached 100% of the set goal and that for 2010 - 2011 there are already promises of support at about 85%.  Praise The Lord!!

We realize that without your generous financial support, we could not continue our ministry.  These are the moments when the Word of our Lord incarnates and we are able to see that Philippians 4:19 is a reality in our lives.  "And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus."  Amen!

Mission Ministry: The House of Hope ministries continue to make a difference for many kids and women in different parts of Bolivia.  From the Andean Mountains where Pastor Nicanor ministers to Quechua communities, to the marginal urban areas where Carmen, Richard, Miriam, Jacqueline, Goretti, Pastor Gaytia, Pastor Willy, Pastor Penaranda, Pastor Raul, Pastor Emeterio, Pastor Bony and Franz Flores and his 1st Baptist medical team use ministry resources.  Soy milk, medications, solid Bible teaching andt he love they radiate as faithful servants producing much fruit for the Lord in their communities (John 15: 1 - 5).

We are so encouraged to see these abundant fruit that makes a difference in Bolivia.  They have been equipped to be leaders centered in Christ with a vision of integral mission.  While we are in the USA seeking treatment for Iris, we are in constant contact with these leaders in Bolivia, using the technology available to us thru the Internet.  The communication extends to meetings, training, reporting, Bible studies and planning for ministry such as the upcoming mission trips in October and November to different parts of the country.  We praise the Lord for all these faithful servants.

Iris Medical Update: The radiation treatments in August at MD Anderson were encouraging.  According to the doctors, it prepared the path for an upcoming aggressive treatment focused to the lungs.  We are due back at MD Anderson on Oct. 7 and based on what they find then, Iris may be started in a chemotherapy called SORAFENIB.  This therapy is supposed to block tumor cell signlas so cancer cannot grow and divide.  It also reduces the formation of new blood vessels that provide oxygen and nutrients needed for cancer cells to keep growing.  We request your constant prayers.

Thank you sisters and brothers for your support!
