Global Health Education

This project seeks to raise $5,500 in the next 2 years to purchase educational materials, supply travel costs to trainers, and provide ongoing educational opportunities for colleagues throughout the world.

Goal: $5,500 by the end of 2015

About this Mission Project

Dr. Claudia Davila is a physician who heads up medical outreach in Cochabamba, Bolivia. She often struggles to manage the medical outreach while also working full-time as a doctor and teaching at the local medical school. Offering resources to aid in her education of future leaders is an example of how this project can further ministry globally.

This project is aimed at bringing up-to-date and pertinent health care education to partners and colleagues in many countries. It will be done through seminars, teaching materials, bringing in health specialists for training, classroom education and community health education.

A gift of $110 will provide pamphlets and teaching packets. $275 provides textbooks. $550 would pay travel expenses/honorarium for a specialist doing the training.
